Our handwoven wool area rugs are crafted in small family workshops in the town of Teotitlan in Oaxaca, Mexico by skilled Zapotec weavers using traditional techniques passed down through generations.   Rich in texture and artisan craftsmanship, these handmade Mexican rugs bring warmth, character and timeless design to any interior.   *Since our designs are all handmade, slight variations in size, weave, color and texture may occur. Dimension does not include tassels.   CARE:   Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish over time with regular vacuuming. To prevent dust and crumbs from settling into your rug, vacuum regularly and/or shake. Do not pull loose ends. Clip them with scissors to remove. Keep away from excessive moisture. Blot spills immediately with a white cloth. Professional rug cleaning recommended as needed. Harsh chemicals may damage or fade rug. Do not prolong its exposure to direct sun to avoid fading.
